TO JOIN THE TOGA PARTY, JUST FOLLOW THESE 4 STEPS.
Register as an INDEPENDENT. There is no LEFT or RIGHT, MAGA or WOKE, CONSEVATIVE or LIBERAL. There is, however RIGHT and WRONG. Not everything that’s Right is Left, and not everything that’s Wrong is Right. Every issue should be examined individually, based on facts, not Party. PAY ATTENTION AND THINK INDEPENDENTLY.
STAY INFORMED. Follow the issues from all points of view. For example, If you watch MSNBC and/or CNN, you should also watch FOXNews and NEWSMAX. If you watch Kimmel, Colbert, Stewart and Maher, you should also watch Hannity, Gutfeld, and Jimmy Failla (not Fallon).
Recognize that Donald Trump is a threat to our democracy. Work to find a way to purge this demented, traitorous, dictator wannabe, and those who support him blindly, without regard to what’s best for The U.S.A.
PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT’S HAPPENING TO OUR DEMOCRACY, THEN GET OUT AND VOTE...VOTE…VOTE…in every National, State, and Local Election. One goal of the TOGA Party is to have more Independent registered voters than there are Democrat and Republican registered voters. Make the Independents a force to be reckoned with.
THE PARTY FOR INDEPENDENT THINKERS
It is the sworn duty for our elected politicians to represent “We The People” and champion for the best interests of ALL citizens of the United States in addition to upholding the U.S. Constitution. With a few exceptions, THIS IS NOT THE CASE. The main reason these individuals become involved in politics is to gain power and wealth and to further their own personal agendas. They promise anything to get the votes they need, then once in office, they do whatever it takes to stay there, regardless of what was promised or how it may affect the people they are supposed to be serving. The blatant hypocrisy and elitist, self-serving behavior of our elected “representatives” will continue to benefit the privileged few while systematically suppressing the middle class. Support the individual that truly represents YOU, and not some career politician financed by elite billionaires, political action committees (PACS), or industry moguls.
There are three things that can be done to minimize this problem and get people elected who really care about their constituents and are committed to truly representing them and looking out for America’s best interests.
WHERE DO WE BEGIN?
1. Term Limits – We have it for Presidents. It’s time to have limits for Congress. NO MORE CAREER POLITICIANS. If they are doing a great job, they can endorse their replacement, then let the people decide.
2. Campaign Finance Reform – Level the playing field while eliminating PACs and mega-donors who may unduly influence elected officials they helped get elected. It puts those lesser funded, but perhaps more qualified candidates, at a definite disadvantage. The most money should not necessarily translate into the most votes.
Unfortunately, it would be up to the politicians themselves to introduce and implement these solutions. The first thing we must do is replace these reprehensible “representatives” with honest Americans who truly want to make the system work for everybody. Hence, The TOGA Party, the party for independent thinkers.
